Okay yes I know I’m still taking a break and all but if I don’t share the fact they made a game about my literal childhood everywhere something will explode aaaaaaaa
(Forgot to post this! @askphantomthorns ‘ gift for a Secret Santa thing we did! Everyone is Gardevoir.)
(Okay, sorry to interrupt your scheduled Ask the Cookies post but how isn’t this fucking amazing and my inner 9 year old is AAAAAAAAAAAAA)
Tang has already preordered everything from the direct lol
This is slander.
I didn’t preorder the game and watch thingy because I know I’m not going to use it lol.
… The rest might have been preordered though.
…apparently since May, but I didn’t realize this until now oops.
Inkscape is the vector graphics editor I use for anything ask the cookies and pony related. It’s free, it’s open source, and it’s great. It’s also not a weirdly cobbled together piece of shit like Illustrator, so that’s pretty nice, too.
I haven’t tried it much so far, but new version has a dark theme and that automatically makes it way better than the last one. Though going through the list of changes, it seems there’s some seriously amazing new features.
(Maybe at some point I’d gush about how nice Inkscape is, or how the MLP fandom actually actively contributed improvements to its code over trying to make it better to do vectors of ponies.)
In any case, if you guys notice any minor quirks of differences on how text and stuff looks in Ask The Cookies in the future, assume it’s a new Inkscape version thing.
Good morning, I am uncovering a massive scoop on @askthecookies and @tangymod regarding the future.
Cocoa with the hot @askthecookies leaks, getting a head-start in her career as a journalist.
But yeah that’s actually mostly true. I’m a bit burn out by Ask The Cookies. I mean it’s sort of normal, it’s been a bunch of years with sort of one post a day and stuff. And I mean, I think you guys might have noticed the increasing amount of filler posts and plot stalling lol. Not a knock on anyone at all, y’all been an amazing audience and stuff, and I feel pretty okay with how things have been so far. I have nothing but good memories, and memeries, and a bunch of new friends out of it. So, thanks for reading ask the cookies!
Before anyone panics, I still fully intend to finish the current open plotlines and give the whole thing a sort of ending, and I’m pretty stubborn about that. Can’t say when that’s gonna be. I’m aiming for late 2020/early 2021 but I have absolutely no idea how that’s gonna go. After that, we’ll see. Maybe I’ll hand the tangyverse off to @phantomthorns or something. So yes, we’ll finally get to see what happens in the future and how slutty a separate Freesia looks and stuff.
As for the pokemon plans, currently in VERY early development. Not even sure it will end up being a blog in the end, or a more traditional webcomic, or what. I was gonna keep them under wraps for a bit and do random teases because I love that shit (And you guys know it, probably :P) but eeeeeh it’s hard to tease stuff if no one gets it. I’ll share any developments on that when it happens.
(Panel de Pon, the original version of Tetris Attack, is now on the Super Nintendo Online app! I must have sunk a lot of hours into it back in the day.)
I thought Panel de Pon didn’t have an international release?
It was released outside of Japan as Tetris Attack, with the anime fairies replaced by Yoshi. Later entries went with the “Puzzle League” name and also yeeted the fairies.
For some reason (Probably copyright issues with the Tetris name), they’ve decided to go with the original game for the SNES Online app.
Because it feels weird to post human stuff on Furaffinity I guessssss.

So far everything there I’ve posted elsewhere, but you know. There might be new stuff there sometime, too.
Snow from Katana Zero.
I’m surprised no one has tried to 80sfy her before, given the a e s t h e t i c s of the game.
